Explore drawing and painting fundamentals of Western and Eastern art and learn to make them work in harmony with your own style! See how Rembrandt used light to create his famous paintings, how Van Gogh used color and thick paint to create wonders of neo-impressionistic art, and how Da Vinci used glazing to create brilliant works. By learning how to interpret classical drawing and painting techniques, students will use critical thinking to train their eyes into seeing past the surface of a picture, while at the same time building their creativity and critical thinking skills in order to develop their personal visual language.
